On the bases of the vastness of the sea or rocks, or on the bases of an empty city, or a cargo ship that bears a resemblance not less of a desert, the base is a space without a place: enormous masses that seem far away, a journey on spot, pushed far and profoundly, derivations, departures are errances which assert their very ordinance. One listens, one contemplates, it’s one and the same gesture really, the one who films and the one who speaks. It is a depiction of the same recurring image that keeps rising and strengthening itself.
